Mechanized harvesting
Subcontracting
Mechanized almond harvesting represents a fundamental innovation in the agricultural sector, allowing farmers to optimize production times and costs. Thanks to the use of specialized machinery, almonds can be harvested more efficiently than traditional methods, while simultaneously reducing manual labor and increasing productivity. Almond harvesting machines are designed to operate on a variety of terrain types and can be adapted to various fruit tree models. These machines vibrate the trees based on the size of the trunk, causing the fruit to fall to the ground, where they are then collected by special screens that convey them to two lateral dehullers. This process not only speeds up harvesting but also helps maintain the quality of the almonds, preventing damage to the fruit and trees. Another advantage of mechanized harvesting is the substantial reduction in production costs for the farmer. The ability to harvest more quickly and with only two operators allows for significant savings in harvesting costs. Farmers can plan their harvest and choose whether to sell their produce to us at the best market price, maximizing the yield of their almond grove with zero worries.

SHELLING AND SELECTION OF ALMOND
The roller shelling line is an innovative system designed to optimize the almond shelling process. Thanks to its advanced technology, this line allows for the efficient and rapid separation of the shell from the nut. The process begins with the almonds being fed into the grading system, where rollers apply the right amount of pressure to ensure uniform shelling. Next, the almonds are transferred to a sorting unit that filters and classifies the nuts based on size and quality. This step is crucial to ensuring a high-quality final product. The company also offers local producers the option of subcontracting service, making their product more competitive and immediately marketable.
A passion for tradition and rural identity drives us to rediscover ancient crafts. Among these is undoubtedly the construction of traditional dry stone walls, natural engineering works that are both beautiful to look at and useful for managing agricultural land. They are not only a typical feature of the Sicilian countryside, but also play an important role in mitigating hydrogeological risks, especially in hilly areas prone to landslides and instability. Our company (for the province of Syracuse only) offers a variety of stonework construction services and the restoration of those damaged by time.
